I offer three design tiers based on the level of detail you would like included. Most of my sets that I design fall into the "Detailed" tier. However, if you are looking for something simple or more elaborate I offer those options as well. Pricing for the cookies is determined by the amount of detail and the amount of time needed for the set, which is inclusive of the time it takes for preparation, baking, decorating, and packaging, as well as the cost of materials. Details such as many colors, mid-level lettering, hand painting, logos, personalization, intricate florals, intricate details, thicker cookie, alternative recipes (vegan or gluten-free), and metallics will raise the base price. Grand total cost includes sales tax, packaging, delivery, and shipping, if applicable.

$85/dozen (2 dozen minimum)
Includes up to 2 shapes and 2 colors (in addition to white).
The Detailed Set
$95/dozen (2 dozen minimum)
Includes up to 4 shapes and 4 colors (in addition to white) with airbrushing, moderate lettering, names personalization, basic florals, and small metallic details
The Elaborate Set
$120/dozen (2 dozen minimum)
Includes up to 5 shapes and 5 colors and includes hand-cut shapes, airbrushing, intricate florals, metallic & hand-painted details, & detailed lettering
Logos, Portraits, & Characters

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions I've received from my customers. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, please reach out!
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENT?
Yes, I require a minimum order of 2 dozen.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER?
I typically take orders for custom cookies in two-month increments that open two months prior. (Example: Orders for January and February will open in November, Orders for March and April will open in January) I will post on my social media when ordering opens for the upcoming months. Be on the lookout because I tend to book up fast! While I try to take every order possible, it is not always possible. Quality, not quantity, is my top priority to ensure customer satisfaction - for this reason, I will not book more orders than I can reasonably produce to my high standards. I am a one-woman-show, therefore I tend to book up quickly. If you know you need cookies, the earlier confirmed, the better. I do not book custom orders beginning December 1 through January 15.
WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Custom orders under $250 will need to pay in full within 48 hours after receiving the invoice in order to secure your spot on my calendar. Orders over $250 will have the option to pay $250 or a 50% deposit (whichever is greater) within 48 hours and the remaining balance will be due two weeks before pickup.
HOW ARE YOUR COOKIES PACKAGED?
Packaging depends on customer preferences.
Platter style: Cookies are packaged together in a bakery box, atop a bed of marshmallows to maintain freshness. This option is recommended for cookies that will be presented on a platter at an event where they can be expected to be consumed immediately. The remaining cookies should be placed in an air-tight container for up to 3 weeks or in an air-tight container and placed in the freezer for up to 6 months.
Individually Sealed: For an additional fee, each cookie is individually placed in a bag and heat-sealed to keep them fresh! The cookies are then placed in a bakery box. This option is excellent for party favors or gift-giving. These cookies remain fresh for up to 3 weeks at room temperature or up to 6 months in the freezer.
Other: For holiday pre-sales, gift packaging is available to match the holiday theme, (ribbons, bows, stickers, tags, etc.).
CAN YOU SHIP YOUR COOKIES?
Due to the California Cottage Food Laws, I am unable to ship cookies outside of the state of California.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE ALLERGIES?
All of my standard cookies are baked with eggs, flour, and butter. I am unable to accommodate these allergies at this time. However, I can replace the almond extract with vanilla to provide nut-free cookies. I also offer gluten-free and vegan varieties. Please note that these cookies are made in a kitchen that has nuts.

I can deliver within El Dorado Hills or Folsom, for an additional fee.
CAN I FREEZE YOUR COOKIES?
Yes! My cookies freeze well and this is a great option if I am booked for the date you are looking for. For optimal freshness, you may freeze your cookies in an airtight container (or keep them in their individual cello bags and then in a container). If the cookies are not individually wrapped, place parchment paper between each cookie when placing in the airtight container. To thaw your cookies remove the container from the freezer 4 to 6 hours in advance. It is important to keep the lid on the container until the container and its contents have fully come to room temperature. No peeking! Condensation may form on the container and is a normal part of the process. Once the container has fully come to room temperature, you may remove the cookies and serve.
HOW LONG DO THE COOKIES STAY FRESH?
In an airtight container or bag, each cookie will stay fresh for up to 2-3 weeks at room temperature. In an airtight container placed in the freezer, cookies remain fresh up to 6 months. Do not place them in the refrigerator as the condensation may ruin the details and cause the color to bleed.
DO YOU MAKE VEGAN OR GLUTEN-FREE COOKIES?
The Cookie Boss offers Gluten-Free (GF) or Vegan custom cookies upon request, (or both GF & Vegan). While made without animal byproducts or ingredients containing gluten, customers with serious dietary restrictions and allergies should always play it safe. All products are prepped in the same facility, so exposure to common food allergens, while limited, is possible. To order GF or Vegan options, please specify in order details. Additional charges apply.
INGREDIENTS
The standard recipe consists of the following ingredients:
Sugar Cookie: Bleached Wheat flour, Brown Sugar, White Cane Sugar, Butter, Egg, Cream of Tartar, Cream Cheese, Corn Starch, Salt, Vanilla Extract, Baking Powder (corn starch, sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum sulfate, monocalcium phosphate). Royal Icing: Powdered Sugar, Superfine Sugar, Dried Egg Whites (egg whites, sunflower lecithin), Cream of Tartar, Corn Starch. CONTAINS WHEAT AND EGG.
